the deep freeze, january themes & things I am excited about…

Holy January...

It's frigid here in the Northeast, my friends in the mid-atlantic are bracing for a massive snowstorm and I am forcing myself to make peace with winter, once and for all.

The other day, while trudging through knee deep snow, I was on a breakthrough call with a lovely new client - And walked through a clearing out on to the pond and THIS was the view.

Gorgeous, fresh snow covered ice with pine trees galore and not a human in sight -

It took my breath away - and reminded me that embracing the "hard" parts of life, business, motherhood, living in a body, creating things always rewards us in ways that will surprise and delight us if we have the courage and tenacity to see it through.

In addition to embracing winter, I am returning to my roots - so to speak...

I decided to go all-in on Substack, which is bringing me back to my 2013-14 tumblr self...The poet, the teacher, the deep soul having a human experience.

But ALSO...

The business coach who has acquainted herself with every single platform that's out there who has discovered the power and beauty of this tool and the functionality - the ability to create a paid community/subscriber base and so much more.

My clients will tell you I am unreasonably excited about it...and think every one of you should start yours today!

Here's how I will be creating there:

I will not only be writing weekly for my free community members, I am creating a paid subscriber option for livestream coaching/business/money-themed conversations, audio series experiences (think live challenges/immersions), a live chat space for real time connection and a whole lot more.

You can subscribe to my free Substack here (and upgrade to paid)

Here are my 2 cents on why this platform matters right now - which I will be talking about more in-depth in the coming weeks:

Everyone is talking about a "trust recession" and, while I understand the thought - needing to build trust so people will buy from us is certainly not a new concept. It's been the foundation of my business from day one and where we double-down in the work I do with my clients...

This isn't new.

And this is why Substack matters:

When people spend more time with your work - YOU have the space to offer even more depth + connection, more relationship-enriching experiences - this is what amplifies trust - above all else.

Real people being real people together.

And this is what we need to be centering no matter where we are showing up in our businesses in these current times.

I also just found out I am listed in the Top 10 of Rising Business accounts! Woot!

And because I have no strategy for this - it feels a little like magic...a slower boil, a softer pace, a place to continue to say the real things.

I am excited take you along this journey to share what I am learning!

Stay warm, Love!!
