We leave tomorrow (a year in the making! )
It was March 2025, we were sitting outside on the covered porch listening to the rain just a few hours before our flight back home.
But there was one problem...
None of us wanted to leave.
Our 2-year-old son wouldn't get out of the pool, our daughter was in tears - and I was too.
It sounds dramatic, but when you love something - it's a cellular experience.
On the plane ride home, just after Ben had an entire can of seltzer spilled on him and his seat by the aforementioned 2-year-old - we vowed that we would find a way to extend our time next year...and we would make a grand adventure.
And I am overjoyed to tell you that we did it! - well, we're doing it - starting tomorrow.
We are <24 hours out from hitting the road for our big adventure - we're spending an entire month on our favorite beach!!
And the levels of complexity that kept us from letting this be a real viable option - like our pets and our house here in winter (snow-maggedon) and our worry about our family back home....finally melted into the knowing that if something is that important - you find a way.
I am finishing up my coaching for the week and basking in the excitement of what's about to unfold, while also obsessively checking my copious lists.
Mostly, though, I am feeling relief at what happens when we follow the flow and surrender to the bigger plan.
About how much easier it is when we let simplicity take the lead and this experience isn't just showing up in our trip to Florida - it's also showing up in my business and, specifically, in my work with clients right now.
I've been making some subtle adjustments - rebuilding the website to reflect them and getting really dialed in on what I am meant to be doing in this season in my work.
I'm also doubling down on activating this next chapter and it feels so good!
I recorded a reel about this earlier in the week with some loving reflections on how we get in the way of our own momentum, often, without realizing it - and what I would focus on for the next 30 days in my business if things were feeling "quiet."
You can watch that & share questions in the comments of that post here.
I also recorded an episode about Alysa Liu's gold medal joy that has me twirling to Donna Summer on repeat and how my *literal* worst nightmare happened the other day and how I handled it.
I have been wrapping 1:1 Money Codes sessions and they are blowing my mind!!
If you are continuing to meet the same resistance or revenue/client "caps" in your business - this might be for you. I am excited to host more of these in March from the beach (We added a 2-pay option)!
It's wild when we realize that we're just one decision away from a new reality.
Sending you love as we wrap the month!
