We ARE the new norm

I had an intense healing session yesterday. 

As I lay on the table with needles in my neck/shoulder and head...I heard another patient talking with my doctor in the waiting area.

She said, "I think my nervous system doesn't trust it yet." 

I couldn't hear anything else, but her words echoed in my mind as I lay there letting the pain move through me while my body did its good work.

"My nervous system doesn't trust it yet."

I'll likely never know the person who said those words, but here they are for us today - the lock and key - where the codes we're trying to crack really reside.

These sacred bodies that lock memories up + in for lifetimes in concert with our kaleidoscope consciousness and ancient grooves that influence our existence for infinity and beyond. 

But if I've learned anything over the last decade, it's that what waits in the deep must eventually find its way to the light. 

And there's no more direct & disruptive way to bring forth what lives in the deep than to create your own business and all that comes with it. 

The insecurities and worries that come with putting out your shingle - virtually or otherwise - will require you to put words to your dreams and move on behalf of your vision.

This work inevitably requires us to be seen - in all of our human + hope-filled glory.

Entering the stream of our sacred calling works like that, doesn't it?

It peels back the layers and challenges us to enter the waters of truth - even when there's no guarantee it's going to make sense to the world at-large.

I was just DM-ing with a client on this topic and she said, "But how do we put that into a biz model?" 

My response: Transcend the idea of a "business model." Be your weird, magical self. 

What we're talking about here is reaching our own limitless nature.

Expanding beyond old pathways of comprehension to make room for new understanding is not only our responsibility, it's our birthright.

The idea of being a super-present mom, joy-filled business owner, grateful wife, poet, nature-lover, introvert, speaker and wildly creative soul is a paradox in and of itself.

But it doesn't have to be...

And the more we show up & share how we live and earn and give and grow...the more perceptions begin to transform.

It can feel terrifying to allow yourself to be fully witnessed.

But the only way for the new norm to find its way into reality is to BE it, Kristen.

We ARE the new norm, friend.
