The power of your purpose.

It's my family's birthday weekend and I am deeply immersed in celebration and savoring these sacred moments, but I wanted to drop in for a quick note of encouragement.

There is so much unfolding in the world around us in this moment in history.

I can honestly say after speaking with many incredible leaders, visionaries, entrepreneurs, teachers, healthcare workers, spiritual mentors, parents and beyond that we are all coping in our own ways to the best of our abilities.

I can also say that every, single one of the individuals I have spoken with is navigating the unfolding differently and no one has it all figured out.

It has never been more clear that there is no universal "right" way to do this.

If this year has done anything for us, it has shown us the importance of letting go of what's not for us to live our lives in alignment with what is.

You and I both know that things are going to continue to intensify throughout the remainder of 2020 and the only "medicine" that seems to work in keeping our feet on the ground and focused is to live and breathe in + ON our individual purpose.

Your purpose is your North Star.

Your purpose is the thesis.

Your purpose is the rudder.

Your purpose is the golden ticket to a life of deeper fulfillment.

Living in and on your purpose makes things a whole lot simpler even when the unknowns are enough to bowl you over most days.

When you know what your heart beats for and how you are here to help, the struggle of the quest, itself, becomes a lot less daunting.

My truest purpose is to love.

I believe it's everyone's purpose if they can heal from the pain of living in a world that has forgotten this.

I'm also really good at helping people (re)connect to their purpose and set up their life to earn an income doing what they love.

And as I look over the dots of my journey, I can see that no matter what part of my career I was in, I was always the one helping people and organizations zoom out on the bigger picture and purpose of their life to create more fulfilling and profitable results.

It's safe to say that 2020 is all about your purpose, Kristen.

Are you living in it? Are you living each day ON it?

If not, what needs to change? What gets to elevate? What gets to go?

The news of actor Chadwick Boseman's passing has had me feeling even more passionate about PURPOSE than ever before.

This incredible man and visionary was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer at age 39 and gone at 43.

I will be celebrating my 39th birthday next Sunday...and I am sitting here realizing that when Chadwick turned 39, he had only 4 more years to LIVE.

What would change for you if you knew you only had 4 years left to be here in this body?

What would you create, step in to, say YES to if you knew you only had 4 years left to be here?

Chadwick left a legacy of deep work and contribution.

While grappling with colon cancer, he was filming the generation-shifting, history-making Black Panther movie and many more.

He was enduring the pain of cancer and a withering physical body and still showing up to leave his dent in the Universe.

Scrolling through Instagram this weekend has had me captivated at the transformational power of someone courageously choosing to live FULLY in their purpose.

** Just breathe that one in for a moment and ask yourself - what am I waiting for? **

It is clear that Chadwick was living in and on his purpose, and in that, he has left us a profound gift.

Rest in Power, dear sir.

What is your purpose asking of you?
