How to Take a #WhiteSpaceWeekend in your Business

This week was been straight up bananas.

I left the country for 2 days to go hang out with one of my best gals and our favorite life + biz mentor Tony Robbins and then I high-tailed it back to go do my very first keynote talk at a Business Success Summit.

All of this was on the heels of my Tuesday work day being crumpled into a little ball of scrap paper when our girl woke up with a fever and the need to stay home from school.

To say that I am fried calamari would be an understatement.

And if I've learned anything about this sacred work of mine, it's that...

All of this expansion leads to the inevitable need for contraction.

Stepping up and out on the stage, being extraordinarily visible and pushing ourselves to perform without a break is grounds for the crash and burn.

And I know this pattern all.too.well.

In my former life, I lived life on fast forward.

I worked 50 hours per week on average for most of the year.

I was the last one to leave the arena most nights and all of that pushing took a toll, not only on my body, but on my spirit.

When I traded in my headset for a laptop and this work from home mamapreneur life, I made a vow to myself that I would slowly, but surely, reprogram myself and honor the space that my soul was aching for.

I've recently started implementing what I am calling "White Space Weekends" in to my life and business and I have to tell you, it feels glorious.

No plans. No deadlines. No scheduled calls or conversations.

Just flow and ease and staying in our pajamas if that's what we want or doing things like driving to the mountains for a hike or a cold winter walk on the beach...or simply inviting friends over for dinner last minute to just celebrate being together.

The term White Space Weekend requires no rules, only that you allow yourself the space and grace to do whatever your soul is craving.

I've got some seriously exciting stuff coming your way in the next 2 weeks...a free virtual workshop, some mega-epic new freebies (including a training on how to massively grow your Instagram following) and an offer you're not going to miss.

But first, I want to invite you to join me for YOUR version of a #whitespaceweekend.

What would that look like in real life?

What would you have to let go of in order to make more space for you in your plans?

How could the energy of a #whitespaceweekend better prepare you for a most productive and fulfilling week ahead?

Head on over to Instagram and comment on one of my #whitespaceweekend posts.

Share your own with the hashtag (#whitespaceweekend) and let's start a new trend together!

I can't wait to see what you're up to and how choosing more white space clears the decks for more of what your soul is craving.
