5 steps to realize your next big manifestation 🤩

Over the last few months we have been planning to hit the open road.

Like so many who have felt constricted and constrained by the conditions 2020 delivered to us, we have been craving an adventure and landed on the idea of renting an RV and traveling around the country.

After spending an extensive amount of time researching (Ben is an enneagram 1, after all), we realized that the expense of a rental wasn't jiving with our long-term financial strategy.

So on a whim on a Wednesday over a week ago, we piled in the car and drove up the road to an RV dealership.

I had a very clear picture in my mind of what would fit the bill down to the color of the interior and the newness of the vehicle.

If I'm being honest, I was prepared not to find it and just stay comfortable in the land of confusion.

Newsflash: Confusion is often a safe harbor when we're getting the scary tap to expand.

We pulled into the dealership and mixed in the sea of giant buses and tow-campers, we saw the sweet little rig of our dreams.

Not too big, not too small.

We met with a gentle soul of a salesman and he walked us through the vehicle.

Anni climbed up into the loft bunk and declared that this was her bed from now on and the rest is history.

Well, sort of...

We asked him to share the numbers after he told us that the RV had arrived that morning with only 1100 miles on it.

He scratched his head at the impeccable timing and I assured him this was just how we rolled.

We drove home excited at the possibility and completely unattached to the outcome.

We dared the Universe to show us a sign that this was the right move.

Over the next few days, signs and confirmation landed left and right. We could not have missed it if we tried.

Even the negotiation process was simple and smooth.

So on Wednesday last week, Ben drove our new home on wheels down our dirt road holding his breath as he skimmed trees and backed it into its now spot.

Part of me is still in disbelief, but the wiser part of me, the part of me that knows this is how it works is thrilled and cannot wait to visit a city near you.

The steps we took to manifest this new toy into our world is the same I've used countless times for so many incredible things in my life and I wanted to take a beat and share them with you.

Here are my 5 steps to realizing your next manifestation:

1. Be specific about what it is you desire

When I order my favorite salad from our local café, I specifically ask them to leave the jalepenós. If I ordered it the way it comes, I wouldn't be able to eat my salad because spicy food is just not my thing. The U needs you to be specific from a place of play, joy and excitement. What would feel amazing to you? Be specific. Want your sundae to come with a cherry on top? Ask for it. Even better? Visualize it before it arrives and then....release it.

2. Check yourself for resistance or limitation

The more resistance you feel on the trail of the thing you're calling in, the harder it's going to be to receive it. Notice what's coming up as a block and clear it. In the case of the RV, I found an old story about a loved one who used to make disparaging comments about people who had lots of "toys" like RVs, boats, motorcycles, etc. I noticed a feeling of embarrassment or a hesitation to feel excited about our new purchase and was able to clear that old story and release what wasn't mine.

3. Ask for a sign (and pay attention to what comes up)

One of the most fun ways to be in the vibrational vicinity of what it is we desire is to ask for a sign or something to confirm that you're on the right track. In this, I had some unexpected revenue come in and in conversation with my neighbor he started talking about RVs without me saying a word! One of the exercises Ben and I practice when we are tracking a manifestation and getting ourselves excited for new possibilities is reviewing what confirmations we've noticed along the way and our day.

4. Let go of all attachments

The most important thing to remember about manifestations and welcoming in beautiful experiences in our lives that line up with what we're dreaming into is that they arrive for our highest good. If we believe this to be true, it's easy to move on to what's next reminding ourselves of the old adage, "This or something better."

Sometimes the "something better" is a hard pill to swallow. I can tell you that there have been seasons of my life where this saying has stung to hear or even say to myself. But what I know about how life unfolds, there is so much happening in our favor.

5. Take action when it's time!

There came a point in the RV experience when all of the chips landed in our favor and the only next step was to say yes. This RV is about abundance. It's about expansion and connection with one another and the people we love. It's about adventure and all of the things we value most. It's everything we ordered and now it's time to ENJOY IT!
