you're trying too hard, Love

Ok, I admit this email subject line triggered me too...

And that's why I had to write it.

Rewind to March 2023 with me...

It's exactly one year after we adopted our beautiful boy. 

We were back in Florida celebrating his first birthday with beloved friends on our most favorite beach.

I just wrapped a gorgeous retreat with our incredible ELEVATE Mastermind sisters...

And during a breath work session lead by my former client and magical friend Elisha Tichelle I heard the words PLAY on full volume.

I got a visual of the word, but with the A upside down (how playful!)  

I instantly know this is a tattoo I need to get before I head back home to NH.

You see, I spent 7 years reeling in the pain of infertility and grief. 

I tried sooooo hard at everything - including trying to have a baby.

It hurt.

It was intense and so was I. 

And while I have no regrets, I know now the things that are for me in life never miss me.

I don't want to oversimplify the complexity of what we went through or what you might be going through in life, but I do want to emphasize how much can change when we surrender this truth.

If you feel like you are working SO HARD, doing all of the "right" things...

My invitation to you is simple: PLAY. 

Find the joy, lighten the load, put down the heavy rope...

Ask for help...

From the Universe, from the God of your own understanding, from someone you love, from a mentor/coach like me. 

I promise you, the joy, the lightness, the play, the answers are closer than you know.
