There's this wild thing that happens when life levels us...

The inevitable wave after wave crash effect rips any semblance of control we once believed we had from our tired hands. 

Right before our eyes, the layers of perfection we've worked so hard to put into place crumble to the ground.

And the stories we've written to delude ourselves into believing it could be any different melt into puddles of truth.

All we're left with is the void that emerges when we know the only way thru is back home to ourselves.

The most liberating thing I've ever done is sit in the quiet of my own discontent and fully absorb the inexplicable magic that lives in the unspoken questions.

What I discovered was all of the ways I've suffered inside the torture chamber I entered of my own accord.

When I stand on stage in rooms full of eager and ambitious souls, I can feel how tired we are...

I can feel the exhaustion emanating from lifetimes of adhering to rules that hurt rather than help and career paths that constrict.

I can feel the truth building beneath the surface waiting and ready to emerge.

I can feel what is about to happen when we recognize it has nothing to do with how much sleep we are getting and, instead, about all of the ways we must choose what makes us come fully alive while we're awake.

The simple truth is...If you're trying to figure out how to grow, you have to be with the many arduous phases of growth, itself.

Breaking ground, reaching for the light, fully receiving the nourishment of your life...

If you're trying to figure out how to call forth more abundance, you have to revel in the riches of what's already here.

If you're trying to figure out what's next, you have to appreciate how far you've come. 

You are a wonder.
