Overcome the Fear of Asking for What You Want

Two weeks ago, I sat with a girlfriend in our monthly mastermind circle and was gifted a humbling lesson I couldn't wait to share with you.

My friend, an amazing business owner and visionary, herself, shared how she was feeling trepidation in asking for help with one of her big upcoming projects.

It was one of those moments when you listen and think to yourself, "How in the world could she be afraid to ask for help?? Doesn't she know who she is!?"

I quietly listened as one of our soul sisters cheered her on and said, "Girlfriend, you're the pitch! What are you talking about?"

After a laugh and collective exhale, I leaned over and sheepishly shared, "I have to admit, I was afraid to ask you to speak at the Summit."

We laughed and then she shared that when she sat in the audience at the very first Ignite Your Soul Summit 2 years ago, she thought to herself, "I wonder if Amber would ever want me to speak at the Summit?"

It's moments like these I want to bottle up to save for later.

Because here's what this experience showed me, yet again....

We are so.much.more. alike than we are different.

It doesn't matter how far along we are on the path, how many followers or subscribers or dollars we have, we're all out here just doing our best, aren't we friends?

We're all wondering about the same things.

Oprah told a story about how, after interviewing countless celebrities, politicians and famous people and how the most common question single asked at the end of every interview is..."Was that ok?"

Can you imagine if we spent less time wondering and more time just asking for what it is we really desire?

Can you imagine how much quicker our dreams would manifest in to reality if we had the courage to ASK?

Let this be your Sacred Sunday reminder to go forth and ASK for what it is you really desire.

You may not always receive the exact outcome you were hoping for, but you will be closer than you were before setting your intention and moving in the vibrational vicinity of it!

Can I get an AMEN for that?!
